Eve Appeal

The Eve Appeal was set up to save women’s lives by funding pioneering research into gynaecological cancers.  Their aim is to find techniques that will halve the death rates from ovarian cancer within 10 years.  WOMAC has pledged £20,000 to sponsor a PhD student for a year. PhD students are vital to the ongoing research work into ovarian cancers. They often carry out work on the more specialist areas of disease research which can lead to important breakthroughs in years to come.
