Andrew Didlick, Director, Public Relations has today presented WOMAC with a cheque for £1900 following the highly successful UK launch of the new Peugeot 107.Moving away from the conventional launch where journalists attend a regional or central venue for a press conference and day/half day test drive, the Peugeot press office devised an innovative launch format to target as many journalists as possible. By dividing the UK into five regions, the Peugeot press team targeted 107 journalists over a week in June visiting their homes or offices with the car offering a test drive.Peugeot donated £10 to motor industry charity WOMAC (Women On the Move Against Cancer) for every test drive taken. Journalists were also given the opportunity to make a donation of their own.Janet Wilkinson, Chairman of WOMAC is seen collecting a cheque on behalf of the charity from Andrew Didlick.
Peugeot and WOMAC would like to thank all those journalists who took part in ‘Operation 107’ and particularly those who donated so generously to such a great cause.
