WOMAC would like to say thank you to everyone who sent donations in memory of our good friend Lynda Shewan-Sheridan.
We have received the following letter from the Royal Marsden Hospital charity:
I am writing to thank for you for forwarding the most generous donation
of £3000 in memory of Lynda Shewan-Sheridan.
This will be for the benefit of the Royal Marsden Hospital – Pastoral
Centre Fund, in order to make improvements to the front garden, with landscaping
and paving and to facilitate better access for wheelchair users. We will
also make sure your wishes are followed with the addition of lilies and
poppies, and a plaque. Please convey our most grateful thanks to everyone
who contributed to the donation.
Without the voluntary financial gifts which we receive, some of the work
we undertake would be impossible to complete. I would ask you to accept
our appreciation and thanks for your kindness and generosity in donating
this money, which will be used to the best possible advantage of patients
in our care.
