WOMAC will support CTRT with its research into choriocarcinoma, a rare cancer that can affect women of childbearing age. Choriocarcinoma occurs when the placenta, made up of trophoblastic cells, becomes malignant and spreads throughout the body. It ca arise for various reasons – a molar pregnancy, stillbirth, ectopic pregnancy, termination or even during a normal pregnancy. |
